Ford leads automakers in global effort to manage water resource
Ford has become the first automaker to join CDP Water Disclosure, an initiative run by the Carbon Disclosure Project and designed to manage the world's shrinking water resources, which is a critical global environmental and quality of life issue. The CDP Water Disclosure program will serve as a clearinghouse for Ford and other participating companies to report on water usage, water risks and water management plans of company operations and their supply chains. more...

A new marketing campaign for the all-new 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty shifts into high gear today as Ford launches the toughest, most capable Super Duty yet. The ads, aimed squarely at core truck enthusiasts, will be communicated through targeted social, television and print media channels. The campaign will involve sharing exclusive content with various sites, inviting bloggers to press events and having Ford engineers participate in online chats. New Transit Connect customized "billboard on wheels" for small business owners
Because of its unique, attention-getting design, the Ford Transit Connect has become a virtual "billboard on wheels" for many businesses around the country. But not all business owners who would like to take advantage of the vehicle's mobile advertising potential know where to go to create custom vinyl graphics. Ford is launching a new Web site designed to make the graphics development process easy and convenient. With a few clicks of the mouse, customers can design a custom graphic wrap for their Transit Connect using an online library of shapes, lettering and colors. Ford encourages teens to sing for safety
Teens across the country are tapping into their creative skills to address the No. 1 killer of their generation – vehicle crashes. Ford Driving Skills for Life, an award-winning driver's education program developed by Ford Motor Company Fund and the Governors Highway Safety Association, created "Belt It Out: Sing for Safety," a safe driving campaign to encourage teens to compose songs with safe driving messages. The public can help select the winners by voting online for their favorite songs, with winners receiving up to $5,000 each. more...

Two paws up – way up! – for Ford Edge
The 2010 Ford Edge was named Bark Buckle UP's TOP DOG Pet Safe Vehicle of the Year at the New York Auto Show on April 1 (no foolin'!). Three Ford vehicles – Edge, Flex and Transit Connect – were previously named to Bark Buckle UP's Top Ten Pet Safe Vehicles at the Chicago Auto Show in February, more than any other automaker.
