I heard from a vendor and an engineer that we are going back to 8 hours and possibly less in some areas for a couple of weeks due to supplier issues. I know that SD trim ran less stock on several items last week and I heard that chassis was running without seats on Friday. I can only hope this is true as I hate working 10 hours.

Hmmm, KTP people are whining about not getting OT and that retirees and LAP people are doing repairs, but then gripe about working ten hours. Typical.

Yes we apparently will be going shorter this week.
Lucero that's why I always come down on the side of working more. If we go short half the people are mad if we go long the other half are. So at least side with making more money is my stance. I am one of those people when I'm on the line that would rather work less. But, in this job I feel I have to always side with as much OT as we can get.

Ironman and Kess, boxline in Body went 12 hours today. They did that some last week too(Thursday for sure  ). Matter of fact, I know someone that just went to #1 shift on boxline because he wanted OT. Just letting you know Bryan, I know you guys can pull up 36101K drot and see what's going on. |

Good to hear they are running 2 shifts 12 hrs each instead of 3 shifts 8 hrs each...they really saving money!
