This is indeed good news. We're all responsible for this---hourly, salary, contract. I'm happy the salaried folks got some of their givebacks restored; now we UAW members need to demand the company restore ours!

I'm with you jkiel but I think it will take Ford having 5 or 6 good years in a row before we get our pay and benefits back. The IUAW will back the company saying it's to soon to giveback the cuts now, the IUAW will also want Ford UAW workers to stay in-line with what GM and Chrysler are making.
But I hope I'm wrong but I don't have faith in the IUAW anymore.

Profits up and stock so far since yesterday down $1.20 maybe somebody realized we are still 34 billion in debt?

34 billion in debt, but do you honestly see Ford ever paying it back? Do you ever see the US paying back its 11 trillion debt. It just gets passed down and passed down and restructured. In away I see it's like us, I don't ever see us paying off the house before we die. Besides, you can't take it with you when you die. You just leave it to your kids, they sell and take the profit if any.

Most should have house paid off prior to retiring. If not, work until it is.
