I was talking to a few people that are still a LAP they were telling me when they come back from the Re-tool in June of next year, there saying that they will need something like 1400 assemblers per shift. Not the original 800 that was being talked about.

Funny been told less part,less assemblers more like 700 to 800 from what I've been told

I also was told @ 700 per shift will be needed...no where near the parts currently used to build the SUVs.

700 worker's a shift 1400 total, Paint will need about 15% of it current workers and body will only need about 40% If you have a good job at KTP probably be wise to stay put for a while I look for more jobs to be outsourced at LAP before they reopen I've heard the company wants eliminate some martial handling positions after the retool.

I still expect 250 to 300 will return. Many KTPers I talk to hope to get the chance to transfer as well.
