Non-Skilled (Production)
Locations Posted: AAI, Batavia, Kansas City HVC, Powertrain Chassis, Sharonville, Utica, Ypsilanti, Ft. Worth HVC, Houston HVC, Maumee, Nashville, Portland HVC, Site Mgmt FMLD, Tulsa Glass, WHSP, Denver HVC, Evansville HVC, Brownstown, Greensboro HVC, Monroe, Ontario HVC, Lima, Lakeland HVC, Memphis HVC, NMPDC, Rawsonville, Atlanta HVC, BSP, and LAP
The following temporary production job opportunities are available under the provisions of Art. VIII Sec. 22 (b) to all eligible non-skilled hourly employees for a period of three (3) working days until 05/11/2010. Eligible non-skilled employees are from the locations listed above and are currently on Indefinite Layoff (ILO). Anyone interested must sign up NO LATER THAN 5:00 p.m. on the date indicated above. Employees out of the plant/facility for any reason are responsible for making sure their name is on the list for the available temporary job opportunity. EMPLOYEES NOT ON THE LIST BY THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AVAILABLE JOB OPPORTUNITY.
*Placement will be based on Ford Service Date and the number of available opportunities. Employees will be considered in seniority order and selections may be from a combined list.
*This is not a permanent job placement opportunity – this opportunity is considered a temporary loan. Loaned employees will remain at the facility for the duration of the temporary non-skilled job assignment unless impacted by Appendix N of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The assignment is projected to last through August.
*Seniority while at the temporary facility will be maintained on a separate seniority list.
*A decision to transfer to the available temporary job opportunity is irrevocable. After the deadline, if an employee has signed up, it is expected that the employee will transfer. Employees must be available on the assignment effective date.
*Questions regarding the available temporary job opportunities should be directed to your local Hourly Personnel Office.
*The posting process has complex administrative implications. Accordingly, claims of violation are not subject to the Grievance Procedure (Article VII of the Collective Bargaining Agreement).
