Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no "reasonable expectation of privacy" in their--or at least their cell phones'--whereabouts. U.S. Department of Justice lawyers say that "a customer's Fourth Amendment rights are not violated when the phone company reveals to the government its own records" that show where a mobile device placed and received calls.

Let em see if I got this straight. You were ok with Bush listening to your phone calls. But your NOT ok with Obama just knowing WHERE your phone is and not listening to it?
"In that case, the Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no “reasonable expectation of privacy” in their–or at least their cell phones’–whereabouts. LOL this must be the new left wing conspiracy. I have read several articles on this since you posted and NONE of them mention Bush warrant less wiretaps, they do mention one lawyer that worked for Clinton. HOW can you write about this subject and just ignore the years of warrant less wiretaps?

NO NO NO I dont like what Bush did with the Patriot act at all.Its not Bush VS Obama to me.Its freedom and my money I want to hold on to.
Most of the media hammered Bush on this and we also got a body count in the paper everyday on how many US soldiers have died and how wrong the war is.NOW MEDIA DOESNT TALK ABOUT IT or have a running body count on the front page.
The Media should be all over Obama right now on things he has said and the people he put in power all around him.But they dont they give him a free pass and its wrong.

Yes the media was rough on Bush, sometimes unfairly. But, how anyone can think Obama is geting a free pass is amazing. They wack on him daily on every news outlet. Hell they blamed him for losing Kennedys seat when that lady was refusing to shake people hands and ranting about not wanting to talk to people on the campaign trail. She was a complete nut yet all you read about back then was how Obama blew it. Now BP is Obamas Katrina, so on and so forth.
