If you look at a lot of animal speices that are "Social" like ants, bees, ect... they all sacrifice for the good of the "hive". They will be in this world much longer than us I believe. Humans have traits like jealousy and greed, true Socialism doesn't work for a species that has these flaws.

Thing is we are not animals. I believe in the scope of things we are a "species" that depends on the natural elements of this planet to survive, maybe not "animals" but we are mammals, maybe more advanced but still just a species on this planet. A species that has advanced capabilites, but still flawed, due to human traits such as greed, jealousy ect... all of these traits are what prevent true "Socialism" in my opinion. |

If you or anyone else wants socialism then come out and say what you are dont hide it.We are under the best system the world has ever seen or will again.But we have those that wish to turn it into something else.
Obama said himself we live in the greastest country in the world,work with me to change it.Change it he is doing.
People need to read history about socialism and how it only hurts the people.

I agree, thats the point of my posts, humans do not make good "Socialists" we have too many traits that won't allow us to share equally. As far as change, certain things in our society must because everyday there are more people, the population continues to rise uncontrolled. The old ways of doing certain things don't apply to the larger number of people involved. All generations have seen some kind of change, due to the increase of different values and conditions on this planet we exsist on. |

Marcus, the issue is you act like that you have to be all one or the other. If its a pick between pure Capitlaism or Pure Scoialism. I'll go with Capitalism. But luckily in the real word we can be somewhere in between. We are and always have been a mixed economy. We aren't pure Capitalism and never have been. Like it or not we need some controls on the economy. The problem we have is that any idea anyone wants to do now everyone yells "SOCIALISM". When it is no where near socialism.

Im not for unchecked capitalism thats not it.We are heading toward socialism and thats a fact.If obama had his way I think we would be even closer.Its not just obama I dislike, its many many people like him.I didnt like bush very well because of his out of control spending I dont like Arnold S.
Obamas parents where socialist and the people he has put into power positions around him are the same.You dont have to trust me look them up yourself.
