when it comes to stupidity. They want to conduct a health and safety meeting in an area with enough fans for ten people. So add 1,000+ people in that area and watch one pass out due to extreme heat. LMAO This place continues to amaze me. Watching everyone fan themselves and sweat profusively while learning how to be safe. They should charge admission...pure comedy with a touch of stupid. I hope the person sues the company. Better than that...I was hoping OSHA was here observing the meeting since we did have an unnecessary death.
Life is good!

It was so hot I had sweat rolling off me the whole time. And make everyone walk in the heat clear from one side of the plant to the other. Stupid is as stupid does.

You beat me to the post! One very big department head I saw stood by and watched everyone attend this guy. He looked pissed off and grabbed a bottled water sitting by the video production crew and took it over to the person. Amazes me me that they pay all of us to walk all the way over to cover they're asses with safety. Just proves they don't give a rats ass about us! Really, all of those people and no fans or gatorade nearby. I wanted to watch the rest of the video as well. Well now they have another "incident" to add to their list.

Sad part is the poor guy will probably get written up for passing out. They will find a way to say it was his own fault. Shows how much they really care about us. All they are worried about is covering their own asses.

I looked over my shoulder and saw Satan standing behind me. He just pointed to his watch and smirked.

If you were lucky enough to stay by the door line it had some air. I looked at where it was at started to sweat then noticed the fans behind me. I am not a smart man but that day I was smart enough to go to the fans. On the way back to my work area I almost got hit by the ambulance because the driver was looking the other way while he ran the stop sign.
I bet a cold beer they won't even mention it in some future Labor Relations memo to us.

A friend of mine was in the front of the pack, and said that the plant manager didn't even go over to see if the guy was OK. Isn't that special!!!!
