Just saw where the F-150 Raptor will be getting the big gas 6.7 motor this fall/winter with the entire F-150 line to follow. I know the diesel is the main SuperDuty seller but could this hurt SuperDuty sales? Just a thought.

They put the 5.4 in both last year, so why not the 6.2? It is 6.2...the diesel is the 6.7. And another angle...Chevy has some huge plans for their new pickup...determined to be more powerful than every engine Ford is offering supposedly. Chevy is slated to be the first pickup with over 750ft/lb torque.

I did post that wrong, it should have been 6.2 gas motor going in the F-150. The 5.4 has been used in the F-150's for years. I agree the more power and choices for the customer the better, though it does make building them much more complicated. I haven't been in a Chevrolet dealer for years now, I always liked the styling of Chevy pickups, and owned many before working here.

5.4 is to small i think my old 351 pulls better than the 5.4s do.My 95 f150 is smaller truck so I guess that helps with it.
