U.S. president Barack Obama is considering a mortgage relief plan that will waive billions in outstanding mortgage debt for homeowners.
This comes as great news for long suffering homeowners who owe more than their homes are currently worth.
Obama’s plan to bailout homeowners comes more than a year after he pledged billions to bailout the banking and auto industries. A homeowner bailout is what Americans had hoped for when they voted Obama into office in 2008.
This might have even been passed by now.Why should I pay because someone bought something they cant afford or isnt worth as much today as it was a year ago? This is insane this Idiot keeps spending and spending he really is a dumbass.Nov 2nd they are going to be hit hard.

The whole idea is ridiculous...if you can't afford your home, quit paying the mortgage and let the bank take it back. Move on and downsize.

I think this is the only time I have ever disagreed with you two. Im on ILO, but I found a job making half of what I did at Ford and my wife got laid-off last week from her job. Now our mortgage will really take a hit. I pray you guys never have to go through this. My stomache is in knots and my nerves are completley shot too.

ackspac, haven't you heard you are just a lazy person living on the government tit. Sorry to hear about your situtation. Thank you for not wishing that on us and I hope things get better for you and your family. Remember them at the polls, those that say anyone needing a little help is a useless weight on the American taxpayer.

ackspac yes Ive been through this before and i filled bankruptcy lost everything.I bought big things and then I lost my income. So now My mortgage today is 391.00 dollars a month, WHY so low? Well I learned my lesson, people at Ford think nothing about paying 1000 or 1500 a month for a home for 30 years well not me.I plan my life around alot less money than I make now so if something happens Ill be ok.
This has nothing to do with me thinking someone is lazy or not. If you or ME buys a home, car or whatever else and something happens and you lose a job its not the governments job to take care of it.
Im very sorry for what you are going though and hope you do better. It sucks having that sick feeling with the phone ringing and everybody calling wanting there money.

So it was okay that the Bush Administration wrote the Banking industry a big check, but when Obama gives your neighbors/co-workers some help its insane??

Thanks for your support guys. I still believe I will work myself out of this hole, its just some scary stuff right now. When I hired on at Ford life was good and we upgraded our home. Then right after that the Firestone fiasco hit , it seemed to roll down hill. Im staying positive that Ford will call me back in 2011.
