Has anyone else heard this? heard he resigned last week? explains why we didn't see committeeman all week.

Haven't heard that one yet...they ought to grandfather you in lilbear.  I wonder why he gave it up? Something better must be in line? He was my rep before the switch recently...we saw him pretty regularly. |

Nick Reid was a good committeeman. I had him for a while in u-trim. He really gave a crap. I believe he takes it all to heart and puts his heart into it. I wish him the best regardless of his decision. ......and they would be doing themselves well to take libear into the mix. He is a no non-sense kind of guy.  |

That's why I asked . I thought Nick was one helluva guy. He gave his all. He would do right by his people. As for me, we will see come MAY election?

Rumor has it that he got into it with some guys on the frame line. He then resigned.

I lot of people think that the committeman is a target to chew on. A lot of people have opinions that do not coincide with looking out for your union brothers and sisters. It's part of the job.
If Nick Reid resigned, I respect him for resigning instead of hiding out for the remainder of his term, which he could have very easily done. Now he'll return to the line somewhere, and work alongside us.
Thank the idiots that chose to chew on him, instead of allowing him to represent and defend us, which he apparently was attempting to do.
[void this post if it turns out that he was actually an illegal alien, or that he did anything immoral with a overweight frisky squirrel.]

I talked him into staying on before, but he felt like he needed a break and the only way to get a break is to step down or lay down. And being the type of person he is he stepped down. Hope to see him back one day. He will be missed.
