I got a letter today saying mine doesn't end until the end of the year. Is this true?

I need to see one of these letters. The ILO Health Care should end at the end of this month. unless you have purchased COBRA or transferred to another location (CAP). Someone please fax me a copy at 969-3798 or email it to jfishe35@ford.com

The Letter that you received is a generic reinstatement letter. Your coverage will end beginning 9/1/2010. I received a copy of the letter. I also emailed the NESC a copy of their response letter is below:
Jim,
I spoke with our admin team and they advised that when anyone is reinstated to coverage, a generic confirmation statement is sent. Their coverage will cancel on the correct date and a HIPAA will be mailed at that time.
