Greg Fischer will formally kick-off his fall mayoral campaign with a rally
Sunday, Sept. 12 that will celebrate Louisville's unique neighborhoods.
The event, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., is open to the public and will include food from
restaurants across the city, music by Harmonica Red and Fourth Fisherman and
games for children. Pets are welcome, too. And animals available for adoption
will be available.
The rally is at Fischer's main headquarters, 300 Distillery Commons, near the
intersection of Payne St. and Lexington Rd. The day's activities will take place
in the parking lot between the campaign office and Headliners music hall.
People may pick up yard signs, bumper stickers, campaign literature and may
purchase Fischer T-shirts. Supporters may also sign up to volunteer.
Fischer, along with special guests, will speak at 4 p.m.
