Because the rich benefit from having a surplus of people to keep wages low. Here is an example.
This is a quote from an owner of one of the Railroads during the 1800’s The Enduring Vision sixth edition a history text book.
California railroad magnate Leland Stanford declared, “Open the door and let everybody come who wants to come… until you get enough [Immigrants] here to reduce the price of labor to such a point that its cheapness will stop their coming.”
As long as this is true we will have no change in immigration laws.

By the way, why isn’t he locked up for terroristic threatening? I know if I walked around with a sign saying “We will shoot anyone that crosses the border” would have me locked in a heartbeat.

It's just a way of getting publicity, and it worked, we're talking about it. The Web can make something "news" in a split second. LOL Is this pic any better? Just more "news" LOL Attachments:

A huge percentage of immigrants do work in the Agriculture Industry, these aren't small farms. The Agricultural Industry is a powerful political lobby, the Republicans will always love cheap labor. The last 8 years of Republican Administration did very little to stop illegal immigration

The low ball estimate of illegals in the US is 11 mill. There is no way over 5.5 mill work on farms, they work everywhere. The republicans love them because they keep wages down.

Rs love them for cheap labor and Ds love them for votes. We have to stop this blame BS.Its not one side or the other its been BOTH!! There is plenty of blame to be put on Bush but the thing is people that blame bush fail to see the fault in obama and what he is doing and not doing.

That came out wrong. All politicians are at fault on this one for not fixing it.
