im new here but im wondering if anyone has heard if we are working on the ninth i have the next week off and would like to make reservations for a hotel in destin for that day...........kinna sux we have to put in for vacation way back when working saturdays was unheard of now you cant make plans because the company cant decide what they want to do

October 9th is still a tentative Saturday of production. Depending on the area you work in, you may not be able to put in for that day off until it is confirmed. U-trim does not accept time off slips for that day yet. I have tried.

Yea we cant take off sat now.Ive been told we can use a personal day but you wont get paid for it and you loss a day.

i work in utrim also and i put in for this day also only to be denied as it was yet to be confirmed....what is someone supposed to do sit back and wait for it to be confirmed which might be the friday before....i mean i hate to tell ford but some of us have lives outside of ktp...

i understand that you put in for a personal day and you dont get paid or charged your more or less putting in for an unexcused day off without pay...................but what if you put in for the day and get denied........... imean its less than 3 weeks away....what do they expect someone with the following week off to do wait til the friday before to decide if they want to work that saturday i mean you cant put iin for it until its confirmed.......seems like you have no choice but to awol or put your life on hold
