Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The order bank is as follows: 32,361 Super Duty units; 7,760 Expedition units;
1,745 Navigator units.
We are scheduled for mandatory production this Saturday on
September 25, 2010. The tentative production Saturday scheduled on October 9, 2010,
will be rescheduled to a later date. At this time we do not have that date, but we will
communicate it to you as soon as it is scheduled.
The plant's production goal this week
is 1,270 units and next week 1,275 units. These numbers are a target and can change.
If everything runs smoothly these numbers should result in 8.6 to 8.8 hours of
production off the chassis lines. I also want to let everyone know that there are no
down weeks scheduled for the remainder of this year.
Local 862 will host its picnic this Sunday, September 26, 2010, at the Louisville

bratwursts, chips, baked beans, potato salad, drinks and dessert. This picnic is open to
all UAW Local 862 members, retirees, surviving spouses and their immediate
household members only. You must have a Ford ID or union card to available to show
the parking attendant.
This is a last reminder that anyone that purchased Kentucky Kingdom Six Flag
passes from the local has until October 1, 2010, to collect their refund. To do so you
must contact Financial Secretary Scott Edwards at the LAP Union Hall located on Fern
Valley Road. The number is 502-969-9136. Any of the refunds not claimed by this date
will be donated to the "Make a Wish" Foundation.

additional questions please contact Benefits Representative John Klefot at 502-241-
9491.

Your elected delegates and I will attend these meetings which brings all locals together
to meet with the International Union leadership. This will be the first meeting under the
leadership of President Bob King and Vice President Jimmy Settles. The focus should
be on the economy and up coming elections in November. I will report to the
