These people are probably sick and tired of all the givebacks and working in a hostile environment. If they had similar experiences to my last ten months, I don't blame them. I blame the level of occupational stress that led them to developing such bad habits. I'm surprised they weren't snorting coke, doing crystal meth, injecting heroin between their toes, or smoking crack. Working in an auto factory is shitty at a lot of places I assume. But not at LAP! At Happy Land, drinking gatorade out of plastic bottles is enough to satisfy a happy workforce. I can't wait to get back to Happy Land!

These people should be fired on the spot! Gives us a bad name and we have to work with these people and they work in maintenance or drive forklifts or some are on the line.We have the same kind of people at KTP also and everyone knows who they are but yet they still work here. Its dangerous and cost us money.

Obviously reporters can't handle their liquor if they think this is news worthy. When the lunch bell rang these guys walked off the line to the parking lot, drove to the liquor store, stood in line to pay, drove to the park to drink their one bottle of beer (not exactly a keg party), pass around (not hoard) a joint, drive back to work and be on the line before the lunch bell rang to tell them their 30 mins. was up!!!! GHEEZ, I BET THESE GUYS WERE SO BUZZED THAT THEY SAW ELVIS. If these guys sat down on the line when the bell rang and drank for 30 mins. they still wouldn't be drunk. The reporter also stresses that they got behind the wheel and drove. It's not against the law to drive after you drink a beer, it doesn't become illegal until you drink too many beers. If the driver was drunk there's no doubt in my mind that we would have seen video of him weaving or crossing the line because that would have been the icing on the cake for this reporter. And don't forget he watched them for five days and not once got any such footage. Now had these same guys worked at the news station and went to the pizza parlor for lunch and ordered a beer with their pizza or went to a restaurant and ordered a martini with lunch they would not be on the news. I knew a lady from Germany and she said that in the factories over there when the lunch bell rings everybody sits down, open their lunch box and take out their lunch and a warm dark beer.

no way i drink the gatorade supplied here,no one supervises who makes it and its someone different everyday, heardtoo many stories about whats been found in ii,pretty unsanitary if ya ask me they should supply bottled Thats why they took it away from the team leaders. They have 5 people who make the Gatorade and deliver it to the line in a controlled manner. So a couple of years ago it may have been nasty but now I feel safe drinking it.
