UAW holidays: Nov. 2(Election Day), Nov. 15(Veteran's Day), Nov. 25-26(Thanksgiving)

The dates I mentioned above have been on are weekly update for some time now.
We get the major elections off, which occur every evened number year. It's a UAW negotiated holiday, so it doesn't matter what plant you work at you get off.
I was going to say it's in the national contract, but never mind, so were raises and yearly bonuses at one point.

LAPBRIAN is right! In the Master Agreement, Volume 1, article IX, page 117, November 2, 2010 is a holiday!(Federal Election) In KTP's Local agreement - Page 134 - the letter of understanding that pertains to local and national elections points to the master agreement.
November 2, 2010 is a UAW negotiated holiday for Ford!
.....as well as Veterans Day - November 15, 2010
.....and of course Thanksgiving - November 25, 2010

With this negotiated holiday - YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO VOTE!!!!!!

Just to add to this thread, you can go in the back of your local contract and and it shows all the dates that are scheduled off by the agreement. The dates go up till September 5th 2011 then there are no more because it is contract ratification again..

Pmoore. I think you can already get one off the the KTP hompage at your supervisors PC. I will check it tommorow to verify that and give directions to the link.
And yes, as Tony says, you are getting paid for it, go vote.
