Heard today from a friend that works for a vendor. Possible two down weeks in Jan. 11. we would come back from Christmas break work one week then off two weeks.

Probably another "heard it from a friend who heard it from another friend" rumor. My stepson works at a vendor and he has not mentioned it. Personally I hope its just a rumor as I got my fill of down weeks two years ago. I would rather be working. Just my 2 cents.

Not a heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend type deal! Heard this from a friend who works at the vendor, myself. I had my fair share of down weeks, just trying to give some a heads up.

If we do then we do. Im just saying I hope not. Right now I don't see it but time will tell. I will however believe it when I get the memo LOL. But thanks for the heads up. I will have my kid ask around tomorrow and see if he hears anything.

They aren't looking for me. There is a difference between posting a rumor and someone actually passing out a bulletin. I could do without the down weeks. Had my fair share at LAP.

Can not believe we had to actually sign a form stating we were not going to be off those two weeks...is that all salaried people have to do? Their time could be put to use much better than that!! Is that going to happen to every rumor that comes along now???

Whenever they come around wanting you to sign something always remind them that you don't sign anything without an atorney present!

There is a "material protected" week in Jan. We almost never end up being off when it is a material protected down week.
