I see Jon Jaggers every day. You would need track shoes to keep up with the man. He is one of the best I have worked with. He sets the bar very high for the others.

the bar is high because he is good at being a committeeman and not just a committeeman you see everyday with a smile that doesnt do shit for you, there is a huge difference .

Many of our committeepeople have a thankless job; they catch hell from both ends. Remember, they're human, too. If you think your committeeperson is doing that bad of a job---run against him/her in the next election. OTOH, if your committeeperson gets something done for you--- a grievance paid for, a vacation day instead of an AWOL, a supv off your ass---thank 'em for it!

If I happen to turn my head in that direction then I see him. It's very sad he will not be there if manpower is low thats for sure, but true lol

SD trim sees Charlie Jones every single day. He recently had a week off, we saw his crap excuse for an alternate once that week and he was 2 lines over. We told Charlie and the next time he had off we saw said alternate everyday and he apologized as we assume Charlie told his ass to do!

It felt light a scene from a Christmas Carol last night. Here I am standing there doing my job, and to my amazement. I see not one committeemen but at least eight plus bargaining committee as well. I thought I was being visited by the ghost of committeemen past. Each one was a worse committeemen than the one before. Mind you I have been in that area for a long time. I thought that i would share that little piece of humor. Now lets get some more news on that check....

I see several every day. I work close to the union offices and I see them coming out like bears coming out of hibernation once a day. Then I see them go home. It looks like a really tough job. lol

If your a person who cares and tries to do what is best for your people the good is hard. If you dont give a shit then its a great job!

See it's always funny when someone complaines, there is someone saying run against them. I don't wanna be a committee person, but you'd think the people who do run and win want the job and would try to do a good job. But this is just a theory. On chassis we see ours once a week or less.

I guess my theory is a little different than your theory. I think most people run for commiteeperson to GET OFF THE LINE. NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS.
