A woman wearing a wig was attempting to get into the SUV which Rand Paul was sitting in....to give him a 'fake award'...her words. I agree average citizens should not have come to Paul's assistance...where is his security team? I'm glad she truly meant no bodily harm. If she had been packing or the award was an actual bomb...Conway wins. LOL As for analspasm, I don't have to agree with one thing he writes, but I also don't have to give it any weight or reply to him. Lets give him a chance to work on not being offensive towards our other members...as well as our members not pouring gas on his words.  Life is good...I love all you bitches! Thanks for making our forum what it is...but let us keep the mutual respect we all should have for one another. |

I watched the video several times. Rand gets out of the SUV, (is it an Escalade?) walks several feet away from it into the crowd of chanting supporters. A young woman weighing all of a 120lbs. trys to make her way in between 2 men with what appears to be a small sign in her hand. She doesn't get closer than 3 feet from Rand when the 2 men assault her, throwing her to the ground and hold her down, one with his foot on her head.
What a terrible display by both sides of supporters for all the world to see.
You might be a redneck if.....

It was a poor way to handle the situation. There is no doubt about that. However, the woman was a moveon.org supporter with a criminal history that had attended RP events in the past. She had attended enough events that RP supporters knew who she was. An effort was made to surround her to keep her from RP and things got out of hand. She went looking for trouble and it found her. It would be like a black man showing up to a klan rally in a hood and sheet. The outcome likely wouldn't be good and no one would condone it, but everyone would give a big WTF as to why that person was there.

She evidently has too much free time on her hands...she needs to find a more constructive way to impact society.
As for the backwoods hillbilly from Bourbon County...this may be the way he treats women...completely uncalled for.
Paul's people knew her intentions...get a picture with her holding her sign. That's what they do? Talk about a waste of time and effort.

This was not a Rand Paul only event. It was an hour before the debate. Supporters from both sides were present. You can plainly hear Conway supporters chanting, "We love Jack"
Her intentions were foolish, but the individual that stepped down on her head is now facing assault charges.
How will women voters react?

It is a shame that this had to happen, however you never know when someone will do something stupid and pull a gun and shoot you. The fact that it was a female of 120 lbs is beside the point. They acted on a perceived threat and she got stomped, a very small price for the stupid act in my opinion. And if RP was getting out of an Escalade at least its an American company! |

The Escalade is a nice ride...and so are Navigators...nice choice by an American. It's a better choice than many of our state reps driving the Kentucky made Camry.
