Nichole T. Compton is the eldest daughter of LAP electrician Charles Taylor and his wife Bonnie. She graduated from Fairdale High School, Berea College (B.S.), University of Louisville School of Business (M.B.A) and Brandeis School of Law (J.D). After passing the Bar on her 1st Attempt, she opened her practice in downtown Louisville, to serve her clients and her community with professionalism and vigor. She decided to run for District Court because she believes she can address some of the inefficiencies and inequities she has witnessed in our current courts. During a break in her academic career, she had an opportunity to work at LAP on the braze line, becoming a dues-paying UAW member and making many friends. She is not the "UAW endorsed candidate" in this race, but I believe, she indeed, should have been. Her opponent, Shelia Collins, has been the UAW endorsed candidate for 12 years. She boasts in front of Local Union Memberships meeting she has every Labor Union endorsement in this race. With a $120k+ yearly salary, she can afford to drive anything she chooses. Her choice is the non-union produced toyota solara. She is obviously aware of the offensivenes of her choice because she rented or borrowed a new Ford Escape to attend the UAW Picnic this year. After 12 years of giving her our endorsements, our money, our votes and our support, when was she going to support us. 12 years was more than enough. It's time for a change. VOTE COMPTON for JUDGE!
