Has anybody out there ever used the Friends and Family plan for someone? If so what type of discount did they receive if you know? All input greatly appreciated.

I already have a friends and family plan and I love it. About a week ago I signed up for the Ford discount and it is 20%, however I have not yet recieved a bill.

I've used both for friends and family for new vehicle purchaes. The discount varied, depending on the car/truck's sticker price. From $500 to $2500. The dealer is "locked in" to a price set by Ford so make sure to tell the dealer (salesman) upfront you have a PIN for Ford's A,Y,X or Z plan. Then make your deal on trade-in value since they can't negotiate the Ford Plan price. Good luck!

Get your trade in appraised first before you even mention a/x plan. I made that mistake once and they offered me way less than my trade was worth. Went to another dealer and they gave me 7,000 more. Then I said A Plan. Some dealers do that because they know they are losing money on the A/X plan already.

They are just not making as much as a retail sale
