They are so stupid up there.Hey what about the 50 cent gas tax increase they are wanting among other things.

For a lot of people, this is the only tax advantage to buying a home. Without being able to write off mortgage interest, many would not be able to itemize their taxes costing them many thousands of additional dollars in taxes.
This would be a nail in the coffin for the housing market.
