KTP Hall
KTP Chairman's Report
• Order bank is as follows: 31,822 Super Duty units; 8,014 Expedition units; 1,744
Navigator units
• Friday December 23, 2010, will be the plant Christmas dinner. The exception to
this is the weekend maintenance crew will have their dinner Friday December 17,
2010. The final area employees will be split into two groups, one being served in
the FCPA room and the other at the gate 6 vestibule. Stamping plant will be
served at the stamping offices located at the front of the plant. The schedule for
final and stamping will include moving 15 minutes of the first break to the 30
minute lunch period. The company will also add 15 minutes to the lunch for a
total of a 1 hour lunch. The last break will remain the same. The body shop will
be served at the "stop gap" break area. The paint area will be served in the paint
cafeteria. The Body and Paint schedule will include moving 20 minutes from the
first break and 10 minutes from the second break along with the company giving
15 minutes for a total of 45 minute lunch period. All material handlers and
maintenance people will eat with their assigned areas.
• The Equity of Sacrifice Grievance is scheduled to be heard in February 2011. It
will be put into arbitration by the UAW lawyers.
• The Kentucky Truck Plant is attempting to adopt all the children at the St. Joe's
orphanage again this year. If you would like to adopt a child or donate money or
a present please get hold of Mark Baker at 429-2688 or Takeya Lewis at 429-
2182. St. Joe's has a total of thirty nine children. We will be shopping at Meijer's
on Westport Road on Saturday December 18, 2010, at 9am. Everyone is
welcome to volunteer. I also want to thank Meijer's for donating $1000.00 to the
cause.
• Please be aware of any slip, trip or fall hazards in the parking lot. This is the
number accident in the entire Ford system. During the winter months in the past
we have had employees fall in the parking lots due to ice. The company cleans
the lots but there is always the potential to have slick spots. If you see any that
need to be addressed please notify your supervisor or committeeperson. This
awareness carries over to inside the plant also. We have had several slips
recently on stairs in the plant. Please be aware of your surroundings.

• Discussed the announcement of LAP getting the Escape production.
• The new flexible body shop will allow LAP to produce six different vehicles on
different platforms.
• LAP will become a construction site at 2pm this Thursday and will have limited

• All bids are finished for now. The remainder of the bids will be done when people
from KTP and Chicago return.
• All should be back to LAP by September or October.
