To our Union leaders...please put the ladys and gentlemen that know what they are talking about on phone duty...
I called the union office at 7am while driving to Cinci to take my wife to the doc..I already have opened an FMLA and been approved but needed to call my union to ask if I still needed a docs note...the guy that answered the phone had Zero ideal what I was talking about and asked a lady in the office with him. While she was deciding if she knew the answer..the guy that answered said that he wasnt even a union rep and had no clue...to seconds later the lady told the man totell me to call labor...so I did !!!
Fast forward to 2pm, i once again called the union office to ask if I need to call the missing work hotline if i was on fmla...again a guy answered and said he wasnt a union rep and said he didnt have any idea what I needed to do but he did have the hotline # if I needed it !!
Please put people that are qualified and are union reps on phone duty !!!
Good Thing Labor was smart enough to answer my questions !!
