Night shift was sent home for gear boxes. Expect a robocall for "until further notice". If you are in repair,etc. you may be included in the "you are working" group.
If you live an hour or more away, you can call labor to see if you are listed to work or not. Sometimes the robocall comes a little late for some.

I would guess production. Repair,etc. may work. That was the only information I was given by the union. If you do not recieve a robocall, assume you are working.

Just got the call from my supervisor: Stop production order from Detroit the rest of the week. And yes, it concerns gearboxes.

We are having issues with getting the gear boxes. The plant is leaving early tonight expect for certain classifications. As of right now, off tomorrow and a very good chance for Friday as well. They are talking about not getting the parts in until next Wed. so make sure that your telephone information is correct in labor and wait for the robo call each day to notify you on working or being off.

Some classifications and areas will work tommorow, such as stamping and repair. So not everyone will be off, too many to try to list, wait for Robocall to be sure you are off. I think the call will leave it open ended.

Labor is setting up the robo call. You should be getting a call soon. If you do not get a robo call then you will be expected to show up for work. Like it has been stated that certain classifications may be working. The sterring columns are also one of the issues for this time off as well. Call labor tonight at 42-2242, 2244, 4020 if you have any questions if you do not get a robo call. You can feel free to call my cell at 718-6596 tonight up till 1am.

I have got several calls and I just want to state again that they are putting the robo call out to those that are not going to work. The reason that this has taken as long as it has is they have to go in and put the names into the system that are not working. You still have the classifications that will be required to come in so with that, they have to make sure that their names do not get put into that call list. The company has stated that this could take until next week before we report back. Please make sure that you keep your phones close by and check them each night/day to know if your shift is working.

OK, need some clarification. Last night in body, was told to expext phone call to see if we are working tonight. I am in stock so I know it is a little bit different than production. Wasn't told for sure we are not working although I believe we are not but how do I find for sure if stock don't need to come in, didn't get a clean bill of health last night if you know what I mean. Mostly wait and see.
