Title of Post: U.S. Gas market manipulation probe.
In relation to the title rich made a comment about the AG and the gas gouging.
Unrelated, being your reply about the eye dr.
I guess if whacky jack would of won the last election, you would of brought up something about McConnell instead.

Anal do I have to explain everything to you that I post? LOL ;D The title of the post is one thing, but the link provided gives more info. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is looking into BP (British Petroleum) based in London England. I didn't see much of a tie to Conway and Kentucky. I started a new Topic on Rand, our wacked eye doc Republican Senator, and his anti-union agenda. Now can't we be friendly???

Ktpelec please...... don`t tell me you always vote Democrat because the union tells you to. If you think for a minute that just because someone is a Democrat that they are por union you are lost. They are pro union leaders that control our union money. The same union leaders that during the worse recession we`ve lived through gave them self's pay raises between 15% an 25%. With our union dues. And they get much better benefits then we do or ever will get. When was the last time the union gave you a contract to vote on with a pay raise of 15% ? that`s what I thought. And don`t think I`m pro Republican only. I voted for every winning President from Reagan to Obama. I`m not proud of some of my choices but I have to live with that. But I do make my own choices. Not the union or anybody else does that for me. Conway`s name says it all "CON"way. This happened in the last two weeks...... Gas was Between $2.79 to $2.89 a gal when oil was $86 a barrel. And when oil went up to $92. a barrel gas went up to $3.15 to $3.19 a gal. Last week oil went down to $85. a barrel and gas went to $2.99 to $3.09 a gal Then oil went to just over $90. a barrel and gas is back to $3.15 to $3.19 a gal . :oWTF Back in the summer oil was at $85. a barrel and gas was at $2.59 a gal. Do you see a pattern here. It`s called Price gouging. Price manipulation. And posturing. The oldest CON(way) known to man. And CONway knows that some of YOU will believe what ever he says because the union tells you to while 4 of his top 8 campaign donors are oil and gas companies and 3 others are big unions like the UAW. He`s my man....WHATEVER. Please wake up. We are getting screwed and even if you can`t do anything about it don`t praise the ones doing the screwing. Oh did I forget to mention that last year the Democrat controlled House and Senate passed a pay raise for them selfs. Sign by Pres Obama. Only a few Dem`s voted no almost all Rep`s voted no. I wonder who we should trust with our tax dollars??

I didn't say anything about voting Dave, I'm sorry if you read something into my post that I didn't mean. My vote is my decision, I weigh the issues at hand and vote the way I want to, regardless of what others may feel. Like yourself, I don't vote along Party lines. ;D The Conway family of Louisville are good people though, my family has known them for years, and it just seems juvenile to call people names. I agree on all the oil/price issues, "Futures trading" has done this for quite some time now, and it has been going on regardless of which Administration is in power. Oil is priced globaly, and as a country we want it just as bad as everyone else, because we use the most of any country in the world. My Exxon stock has done superbly though! Have a great day, enjoy the Superbowl my UAW brothers.

According to past posts. Bush was to blame for the high gas prices.
Now we have a Democrat president with union lobbiest backing him and funneling truck loads of money for his election and pay offs, gas and diesel prices are climbing very sharply.
Looks like politics play no part in gas prices. Please stop blaming Bush. That is ignorance at it's highest level.
Oil is traded on the U.S. Dollar. When the value of the dollar decreases the price of oil increases. Thus relating to higher gas prices. Then if Opec cuts production then that means less oil relating to higher prices hence supply and demand.
The president plays no part in oil or gas prices. I get so sick of hearing that iggnorant arguement.

agree 100% sickofit...the prez gets way too much credit for the good and the bad...the same way people gave Clinton all the credit when we were working OT. Then Bush got blamed for FoMoCo putting Firestones on Explorers...it's all garbage. The day everyone figures out no politician is 'for the working man', the better off we will be.

Oil closed Friday at $89.03 now lets see where gas is today.
The average price for gas at $89. a barrel Oil was at $2.89 to $2.99 a gal . $2.79 in a few places .
I haven`t been out today but something tells me it is still over $3.00 a gal.
And the news keeps harping on the effects Egypt is having on Oil and the fact is it`s having no effect but they are trying too make us think it is.
Oil was higher (over $92.00 a barrel ) before the crisis in Egypt. If the news would shut the hell up or report the truth then maybe gas would start going down to where it should be.
