Even thou it's probally only 10 bucks, they should have to pay you 4 regular hours for that late of a call.
Some rules need to be setup for this robo call stuff. I am sure there was a ton of peeps on their way in already.
I feel like a doctor ...lol

I am going to ask my tax professional to write off my home phone and cell phone bills . Since I use them for work now.

I was in the plant, my cell phone rang, my wife called me at 4:16, said the robo call had just came, so I got called at 4:15. I complained, they said they would pay me 8 hrs to sit at a picnic table, wife wanted me home, so I came home.

They had been checking with vendors all day to see if they would have enough parts. One vendor called late and said they had been wrong they couldn't get it done.
So, they called to talk about options for night shift.
We had two options: Argue for them not call and work everyone 4 hours then send em home. Or have them call right then and argue that they owe anyone that showed up call in pay. I certainly believe more people would prefer the whole night off, even if it was late, as opposed to working 4 hours and getting home at 9, too late to do anything but tuck the kids in. So we went with B.
Allen tried to get people to the gates fast to get globals. We are arguing for those that came in work that they are owed call in pay.
Stock didn't get called, they couldn't figure out who they needed to come in and they agreed not to hold up the call for final area just for stock.

How is it they can force the low people off one team out of the body shop to work... should it not be the lowest in all the body shop ??

They are all working right now. I dont know what line he is on but he said they were running like normal and told they were going 8 hours. |

Here is the numbers as of 5:15 pm.. Stacker 186, pre trim 275, enamel strip 188. I would say night shift paint will fill it up.

I went through this same mess, we have the cab skid job on my team and the low 5 on our team had to come in and work the skid yard. If the work is team specific then they can force the lowest on your team in. |

I was in the plant already when my husband called me. 4:55. Repair had to work.
