What is going on about getting fans put on forklifts, rumor is that the company wants to use this for a bargaining tool for contract. If this is going to be done by summer it needs to be started now. Health and saftey is not a bargaining tool !!

how long have you been in m/h, they come with fans, management takes them off when they buy forklifts,they like you to drive faster and make your own breeze = more work you can do

Well liftman, as much as I would like to be able to prove that no fans is a H@S, wanting it doesn't make it true. Nothing in OSHA or policy would support us in being able to get this done as a H@S situtation. That certainly doesn't mean it isn't a priority for us, it is. But, just being honest with you we can't win it as a H@S, if we could it would already be done. We have looked at a few different possible fixes. Including www.bigassfans.com/industrial for dock areas. But, none of these fixes are cheap, therefore easy to get. But, it is something we want done. I will do everything I can to get it done, but this is a big one with as many as we have without em. |

At Lap they put us fans on our lifts dont see why KTP cant.Seems silly
