I worked on tire hole expansion at MTP to accommodate 20"rims and operator stemmed there (as I remember...really racking my brain) but the re-arrangement was done to save walking distance to allow stemming.... as I remember but that was 06, 07 really don't remember exactly.......and no P's at all only U's On a side note I remember they were given half a head for j clips on Expy hoods and they tried for 10 years to reduce that head having operators install jclips instead of build up person .... but when you ran the job and used the load assist hoist as required that job went in the hole big time.... just trivia...good luck |

whatpunisher is talking about was 6 or 8 months ago. everyone thinks he is talking about lunsford cause he is punisher and my steward now. but hes not talking about lunsford, lunsfords great, and a good dude.
punisher would know that if he had showed up to work this year. the guy he is talking about is a good steward to. punisher is a medical game player. how he knows he dislikes ktp is amazing since hes been here all of about 2 weeks since he came over.
taking care of medical babys are whats wrong with the union anyway. so if a steward got tired of taking care of a medical game player, hes got my vote. punisher is a player, he seems fine anytime you see him, you just never see him at work.
thank god he fell off our drot so some other happy team gets him now i hope. don't worry you'll never even know hes there.

well creative redneck...fyi....this did happen a while back with mr. jones as my rep.....what i got tired of was having to come in and cover an operator on u-side while "she" got to walk around tire room and occasionally break down a tire or two....team leader said management told him to do this....what makes one worker better at breaking down tires than the other?....nothing, that's favoritism at ktp's finest...our team leader finally was voted out after tire room got fed up with crap like this and we finally got a team leader that told management that this was not the right way to do things....and don't know who you got your information from....i came over in march 2009...went to frame line and was immediately warned by another team in the area that i landed on a shitty team...but i was going to give them the benefit of the doubt since i didn't know any of them......but as it turns out, they were absolutely correct....i was trained on fuel wire bundle by an lap friend of mine who was desperately trying to get off the job because no-one on the team would rotate with him on the job....what luck for me.....there was 1 guy on my team that did rotate with me....that was about 2 hrs a week....finally my hands couldn't take any more and chuck thrasher was not going to enforce the team to rotate with me...so guess what...i went to medical and told dr. hart i was having trouble gripping anything with my hands because of my job..and he asked, "well aren't you being rotated off that job every hour"?...i said no..so i told him to have ergo come out and look at the job..they did and said the job has to be rotated every hour.....and yet still the team was reluctant to rotate and my rep at the time...royce..said there was an opening in tire room...so i said great...get me off this shit team...went to tire room in may 2009..december 2009..while in tire room..started having shoulder pain in shoulder, went to medical about it...they sent me out to dr. and he told me my shoulder joint was completely worn out and the only relief would be surgery....so...october 7th...dr went in cut 1 inch off my collarbone to relieve pain...so i don't know where you get this playing the medical game shit from....or the 2 weeks work since i came over...guess you suck at math....and like i said..the rep is c.j., i think most can figure out who that is without me spelling it out....it gets tiring to ask your rep to do som ething for you and it doesn't get done as was the case with my 2 prior reps...m.s. and another i forget his name...but... i had a dr appt through fords dr....and i had rep talk to supervisor about covering me the whole day instead of keeping an extra to cover me for a couple hrs or so for my mri....rep said supervisor said ok......and guess what happens..?...i get carried awol....during that time, we switched reps to c.j., so he had to represent me at labor....i told him what happened..and he did absolutely nothing to try to make it right while at labor...so, i was sent home for balance of shift....i emailed rodney janes @ bargaining committee and said hey, can you look into helping me out with this cause i don't think my new rep is going to do anything...he said he would....the next day at work, c.j. came to see me and said why the hell are you contacting b.c. you don't think i'm doing my job...and i said no, i don't cause you did nothing at labor....he said after i left labor, he contaced supervisor about getting this taken care of for me...and i told him that he didn't say he was going to do anything...so how was i to know what he was going to do....so we got off on the wrong foot from the get go....then the incident about them adding the stemming to wheel load in tire room u-side....like i already said....at lap, you were told what they were adding to your job...then you had a sit down with your rep and supervisor to go over it and see what/if they were taking off your job ..then they had an extra back you up while they tried to add the work....in this instance, the operator couldn't hold the job and stem also, so the p-side in tire room would get caught up and have to wait on u-side...thus resulting in the float reducing....so while i'm covering tire load on u-side, the superintendant comes to me and says he wants me to go help wheel load and stem on top of doing tire load...i said no, i'm doing the job i'm supposed to do, then i called c.j. and he shows up all pissed off just because i had him paged...thats bullshit....his job is to represent me when there is a problem with management....and then he tells me to do whatever the super says to do...didn't go talk to him about it or anything...and this has been something thats been on my mind for a long time...so i wanted to see if anyone else felt the same as me.

Dont do anything they tell you to!Just do your job and turn the line off on every unit if you help!!!Tell your buddy not to do it if he doesnt want to or if he cant!!We went thru this in exscursion trim and we fucked there eyes out.But you cant get scared you have to stick to your guns you and your buddy.They cant do shit to you all.

I'm pretty sure no utility should ever have to fight work. It is up to the regular operator to fight it. I fought work at lap for about 4 months it seemed like and not once did any of the utilites ever have to fight the job when I wasn't there. Sounds like ktp's union is has about has good has cap's. SAD
