Cant wait until we can replace a few of our union reps, a lot of them are o.k. but there are several that need to be back on the line.Lets hope they dont end up with appointed jobs like some has in the past after they are voted out.Have a good day all.

Why wait for an election? I'm thinking coup d'état !!!!
But a good election outcome would be a nice guilt free "magic bullet" remedy. So whichever...
LIBERTAD!!!

Bucketman, what appointed person?
All of them were either never elected at all or were committee people at the time they were appointed? Unless I am forgetting about someone. One had resigned for personal reasons prior to being appointed, years later, but he was very well liked when he left office.

I will take this a step further:
Coming up on the elections, please post for the candidates that you wish to get elected and why. We will keep this a positive election for many reasons. Here are just a few:
1) It is very easy for someone running for office to sign up under an assumed name and trash his opponent. The moderators DO get to see IP addresses. Union office IP's are known.
2) People who come to this forum for information will turn away from constant negativity. They do not wish to here it. They get enough at work.
3) The moderators will NOT be allowing personal attacks because most people who post do so under an assumed name. A personal attack on a representative will most likely BE DELETED! Someone almost always gives personal information. I rarely have ever seen a negative post where the attacker signs his own name or gives his own personal information.
4) It is easy for management figures to settle a personal score with a committee person by signing on under an assumed name.
5) A committee person cannot/should not debate an attack on himself. He has a job to do. I would hope the committee has more important things to do than dwell on this forum to clear his name.
***Let's keep this one positive please***

Then you may miss out on the committee people I personally know that work their a$$ off. I have known a couple of excellent people that do not have time to look at this forum because of their crazy work ethic. They see their people, solve problems, and stay to solve more after hours on their own time because they still believe.

Tell u what I dislike in a committeeperson when u have an issue and they show up and give you there opinion on a matter, that has no contractual basis...what they are expressing is opinion and that opinion is formed by personal bias....like they're a UK fan and ur wearing a ville shirt or something....Then it's like soup nazi on Seinfeld ....No representation for u.....then we gotta start the whole Art 33 thing.... I see a lot of committee opinion (fluctuating opinion) injected into the representation, regardless of political affiliation representation should be unbiased, and not sure that is case with all committeepeople here at KTP....
