Does any fellow LAP people know or can tell me where and how to check the fuel pressure on my 2004 Mountaineer. It just would not start 1 day had been running fine.

Go to the "Ford Truck Enthusiasts" forum web site. Tons of info on issues for Ford trucks and SUV's.

It was probably assembled on day-shift. That could be the problem.

Try fuel filter replacement. Also I believe there is a fuel pump solenoid or the fuel pump itself.Get Pep Boys to scan for codes.Good Luck!

Turn the dey to ON and see if you hear the pump priming. It's in the tank so good luck. Also go get you a Haynes or Chiltons manual. Also check out this site www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/search.php?searchid=2332223&pp=25&page=3Also if it cranks but won't turn over it could be a broken timing chain. My son's contour had a broken timing belt when we thought it might be fuel related. Glad I thought to check that before I put a pump in.
