They will hold it up untill contract time and lump some shit together and put suger on it, tell us what a great job they did and then you have it, a 4000 siigning bonus and drop the grievance so were only 26000 in the hole.The international always looking out for our best interest.Hang tight brothers we will see.

Could we possibly get Kessinger to fill us in on this topic? After all the union did say this would be decided in Feb all or nothing if i remember correctly.

It`s all or nothing? ? How much or what is ALL?? Did they make the all amount a secret because it`s so high it wont go in our favor. The UAW would love for this not to go our way so they can get it in the contract and tell us what a great job they did. The amount should only be around $5,000. to $6,000. each. That is what we are out from last Nov 09 when the salary benefits where re-instated. not what we`ve lost since 2005. That amount would never pass in arbitration.

there was a copy of the grievance going around a few weeks ago. what surprised me reading it was that there wasnt a specific dollar amount or other adjustment mentioned in what we wanted should we win. i cant remember word for word but it said something like a give back to us comparable to what salary recieved.im not sure who decides what that will be.

With all the other things that have went on. I will say all that they are asking for Is for Ford to admitt that they did us wrong and they won't do it again.

Even if we win, I wouldn't expect any back compensation... probably reinstate benefits going forward.

Grievance? Remember the company decided to "give us" an extra $2000 for quality improvement; let's see what happens? Or was this to appease us for this round of management bonuses?
