We were just told the profit sharing % is 7.88702. Though it wasn't an official notice, I believe the source to be a reliable one.

It will take about $64,000 in eligible earnings to get $5000.00 in profit sharing give or take. March 9th is the payout date. Thanks UAW for the benefit!

WTF again. Last year the union (IUAW) put out a letter that inform us that the average UAW member endured over 9 weeks of layoffs in 2010 and over 12 weeks in 2009. At KTP we had 3 down weeks for most of us and I know LAP had more . This would lower the national average income by over $9,000. How is it that you need around $64,000 to get the $5,000 when even if you worked all 52 weeks with out a lay off you would come in at $59,820.80 . (40hrs x $28.76 x 52 weeks = $59,820.80). A lot of people in Michigan never made it over $50,000. last year. Every thing with this years profit sharing sounds crooked to me. The company is telling us that the average hourly person last year made an average weekly pay of $1230.76 . NO WAY. I worked C-CREW BODY all last year and never missed a week beyond the 3 lay-off weeks and was paid for every day I missed work (per or vac pay) and only made $62,000.
Some one is getting rich on all this.... and they will live like KING I mean like a KING or at least like BOB KING.
VOTE-NO!!!!!!! PLEASE!

let me first say i am grateful for the profit sharing we are receiving, because i know someone will post that we should be grateful for what we did get, when others don't receive any. With that out of the way, i believe it is complete bs that ford went out and told the media that the ,average profit share for employees would be approx 5,000, when in fact it wont be close to that. I believe Bob king sold us out , just as he tried to get us to take concessions last year. I hate to say be prepared to get sold out again by our leaders in detroit come contract time. They will say this is the best we can do , so you should vote yes . Better go out an buy some vaseline for this fall , because it is coming.

i came up with 5100 and i make 50 cents a hour less then line workers Either your calculator is screwed up or you worked a ton of overtime. If you made 60K you will receive approx. $4600

Your overtime is figured up different so all of your pay will not be included when figuring your profit sharing.

I made just over $64,000. I worked just about everyday. There were days that people got to leave early but based on my seniority I had to stay. Same when they called off shifts, with my seniority I still had to come in. All of my income would be counted towards whatever it is they consider for profit sharing and by my best calculating I came up with almost $5100. Time will tell and that time is counting down fast.

Guess it boils down to what is considered income and what isn't. Has anyone posted what Ford considers "income"?

Dave needs to keep voicing his opinion in my opinion. LOL I see too many people afraid to say anything at work...and still be scared to post about it on the internet. Keep up the good work Dave! I hope you do get the $10 million though...that would be one hell of a pay mistake. Could any of you imagine getting a $10 million check from Ford and running out and spending every penny of it before the pay adjustment showed up. LMAO You would work the rest of your time at Ford for free (no weekly check) and still owe millions.

I`ll take the money but I won`t stop posting or talking at work about the wrong way us hourly are being treated by both the company and the IUAW. I have just one questing rockman. How long will you go without a pay raise or any increase in benefits while salary keeps improving theirs. If you stay content all your life you will never gain without the help of us that will always fight for what is right. How can you or anybody be in a union and not feel that way.

It's all a matter of personal perspective, and everyones is different. I am very glad to get the money, and give the union all the credit for helping me get it.

I live in Indiana (Harrison Co.) and this is how I figure my tax rate: -25% Fed (Fate rate for bonuses) -3.4% Indiana -4.2% FICA (normally 6.2%, but not for 2011) -1.45% Medicare -1.15% Jeff Co Emp Tax -1.15% Union Dues -36.35% Total Taxes and Dues 63.65% Net Pay

Hey KTPSPARKY, do you have them take Harrison County taxes out of your check along with the Jeff cnty KY taxes? Do you do your own taxes? I have a question about cnty taxes if you do.
