But if you say no to this transfer you would still have that right if there was a layoff. What you would lose is the opportunity in the future for them to ask you to transfer back if LAP needed people. You would only go back if there was an ILO the involved you at KTP.
Can this be right? In all my 18 years, I have seen them come around over and over again to ask people with recall rights if they wish to go back. Why now that I'm on this end, they say either go now or you are stuck here forever....unless you get laid off.

If your basic unit is LAP then you can go back if there is an ILO here. ANd bump if you have time.
IF........IF the RTBU letter next contract is the same as this one you would be asked again if LAP hired in the future. But not during this launch or ramp up. They could fill all the shifts and not ask. But, if a few years down the road they hire. According to last contracts letter you could go. IF IF IF that letter stays the same.
I myself worry about how they will address this letter now that 2nd tier wage people are invovled.
