well, had a handout of what jobs including bids that are available.....night shift body: BUG#3-20 needed, DDHF&A-8 needed... day shift body: 70 assemblers needed..... 3 paint repair on days, 13 on nights, 15 PUG#3 on days, 23 PUG#3 on nights.....35 body sealers on days needed.......final area: night shift check and shim-3 needed,night shift drivers- 8 needed, night shift FUG#3 60-needed,night shift IFL 9-needed, night shift QL 25 needed.......pre delivery night shift 8-drivers needed....night shift IFA-12 needed n ight shift utility general- 8 needed...material handling night shift ssc&f/u 60-needed....night shift utility general 15 needed.....dayshift ssc&f/u 20-needed....and 450 assemblers needed on final area days.....i know it's sloppy....sorry.......said he is hearing less than 100 from KC.....most coming in would be from Indianapolis.....somewhere around 200 laid off there with 8-10 yrs senority...the rest have no more than 15 yrs i believe.......said we would probably be brought in in groups for training before prebuild in october......said the extra shift would be added sometime around june 2012........i'm sure i'm forgetting something....i'll post if i remember anything important

oh.....and he did say that if we were to turn down returning now...that we "should" be asked again this september......contract time

which leads me to believe...IF, and that's a big IF, they add a 3rd shift in June 2012, they have to ask again prior to hiring. I know many that won't return until the 3rd shift is added...in case it never happens.

PUG, BUG and FUG is your paint utility group, body utility group and final

i do believe, pug#3, is paint utility group, meaning, 3rd shift paint utility , and bug , would be body ,and so forth, i guess if u accept a utility position, they can stick u wherever they want in that dept

If and when they canvass KTP folks, would 7/17/99 seniority be able to hold Body at LAP?

there are 5 body assemblers and/or body utility currently on lap senority list with less time than you joepieper

With all the openings in U-trim to fill in the near future, I would not want to be in the bottom 20 of any dept...not to mention the company's plan to get rid of 200+ ppl already.

This is my last week in body shop, I ll be heading to P trim on April 4th. Not worried about crappy jobs, I hope my future team is cool.
