Well thanks to a few high school mentality male individuals in the area, the restrooms at J-33 are losing the paper towel dispensors and will be replace with electric hand dryers. The restroom has been deliberately vandalized so many times with someone purposely cloging the toilets that towel paper won't be stocked there any more.
Come on people, act like adults!

It's nasty we have to even discuss this...but since the paper towels are being used to clean all the cooties off the seat, they will still find another way to wash the seat prior to sitting.
I do my best to never have to rid myself of fecal matter in this hell hole. Good luck to all those that can't hold it until you get home.
Man, I hope we never see another post on here about clogged toilets...

Clogging toilets with paper towels is one thing, leaving floater's is another.
Let us get to the real deal here, since the cleanup department was outsourced these restrooms have went downhill fast. Paper towels are at a premium and I can't see how or why anyone would waste them like that. Go to any restroom in the plant and see how many toilet's are NOT working with plastic bags on them. Look at the floors to see how nasty they look.
Granted, they wasn't the best before but at least you could use them if you needed to go. Kessinger try to get cleanup back for us. Not only would they be be bid jobs but the restrooms would be cleaner.

The area Union personel have been alerted to the J-33 problems many times. I have to disagree on the cleanup people, I believe they do a good job. However they don't unclog toilets, all they can do is cover them with the trash can bags, so that it doesn't just get worse. Central Maintenance takes care of clogs and leaks. Everything that is broken or abused has been done by some of our co-workers. When the fecal matter comes up out of the floor drain in the G aisle it's because someone is being juvinile. It never was like this until the last 2 years or so...just sayin'.

No, but there were still plenty of cooties on the toilet seats. I will never understand how someone can walk into a stall at work and just plop down on the seat. NASTY!!! Eating while using is one thing, but to plant your arse on a germed up seat is downright disgusting.  |

Since Cleanup got outsourced the restrooms have went downhill. Take your pick of which restroom you want to go too they are all about the same. No paper towels (much less a towel holder that works), half the stalls have no toilet paper and the ones that do only have less than a quarter roll each, soap container's being empty for days at a time, trash cans overflowing with trash and water on the floor that has been there for a minimum of three days. I will agree with you that they have to put trash bags on clooged or none working toilet's, so what's up our skilled trades not unclogging them or fixing them? Are most of them too busy on the computer at work to fix those problem's? I have took Kessinger's advice and called the Union Office, if I didn't get the answering machine all I got was a transferred call to Health and Safety only to have to leave a message on thier answering machine. To date no Committeeman has ever came out to check on the complaint's nor has any of our Health and Safety Reps have ever came out. ONCE AGAIN, IT WASN'T PERFECT BEFORE THE OUTSOURCE BUT AT LEAST YOU COULD USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE. |

Not sugar coating anything TRINITUS, cleanup isn't a job I would do, let alone restroom cleanup. Think whatever you want about the restrooms and cleanup, but the cleanup crew doesn't tear up the towel holders, or the toilet seats, or the stall doors, or clog the toilets or poop on the seat. They are currently cleaning the J-33 restroom twice a shift, and I believe it is as clean as it ever was before we lost those jobs. Maintenance has a budget just like every other department here at Ford, and they aren't just going to keep replacing things to have deliberately torn up again. Thats one of the reasons why the towels are going away.
Back to the reason for my post, "Restroom Behavior" by the workers here, that are supposed to be adults.
I agree Scott, wipe that seat clean with some disinfectant and towel paper, then throw the paper in the garbage can or at least on the floor. It doesn't go in the toilet!

If the disgusting pigs would police themselves, your bathrooms would not be such and issue...
You, as usual have a select few who choose to be disgruntled and trash the place. Maybe because their job sucks, maybe the boss pissed them off, maybe their wife is a bitch, maybe because clean up is outsourced, who knows.
Pay attention, real close...
When you have an issue, notify your supervisor, or team leader, they should have radio contact with clean up. Their should be an immediate response to identified issues. Hold them responsible to get someone out there.
Personally if it were me working clean up, I would let you pigs wallow in your own filth too. It's not hard to maintain a properly treated bathroom, but hey, with vandalism and disrespect, the gloves are off... You make your bed, you lay in it so to speak... Fucking Pigs...

Well, it is nice to hear that KCAP isn't the only plant with this problem. In my 9 years at claycomo penitentiary I have seen some jacked up bathrooms. But, the worst would have to be the time I had seen when some jackass decided to do cave man art in poo on the stall door.

I was in Ford clean up when our jobs were out sourced. Ever since we had Premier come in they are reactive to a problem. I have called and complained about restrooms and have seen the man carry a mop up the steps. (Gee, I wonder what he used for water?) Ford clean up took care of the problem before hand.

Ive always thought that people who are habitual medical problems with tons of restrictions and people who are habitual problem employees should clean the bathrooms. For instance if someone gets so many awols they get rewarded with getting a day off. Well they clearly dont mind a day off and dont need the money or they wouldnt continue to awol. So instead of sending these people home, pull them off their job and put them on bathroom duty.
