How does obtaining parts from a foreign country for our AMERICAN MADE trucks fall into an act of God? So, I suppose the people who don't drive Ford products to work don't have to park down at gate 0 anymore since we DO NOT put 100% AMERICAN MADE parts on our AMERICAN MADE trucks. This is bullshit !

I don't agree with the situation, but they have NOT deemed this an act of god yet...but when our suppliers are affected by a tragedy that only Mother Nature or God may have played a role in causing...and it causes us to not be able to build our product...this is exactly why the company wanted this in our contract. Once again, we voted it in...I mean I didn't, but the majority did...so now we have to abide by what we voted for. I think it leaves too much of a gray area, but it has never been used in my 18+ yrs.
So lets be patient...it may not even happen...but if it does, who says we will be down longer than 2 weeks?
FoMoCo has been looking for a supplier to help out in the meantime...they don't want to sit idle one bit...they don't make any money then either.
