Oh...and don't forget that he was awarded over $50 recently in stock options...here:
The 2010 compensation for Ford's top two executives does not include stock awards granted to them last month, which at the current share price are worth about $58 million for the 65-year-old Mulally and $43.8 million for Ford, 53, on a pre-tax basis.
This bastard was paid $83 already...and that went up with the price of stock going up...so he has now been compensated $84.5 million...what a fucking JOKE!

I hope to hell Bill Ford is taking notes and learning how to run his own company...maybe, just maybe, he will give this guya severance package next year while giving us all a raise.

It's insane how much money the guy makes but...he did something that Bill Ford and others couldn't do, return this company to profitability. Looking back he had a great business plan risking the assetts of the company before the crash, and it has paid off. Now if he had gotten a huge bonus and the company tanked....

So you have no problem with him making $84.5 million? Is $10 million total compensation not enough?

GM's boss got what all should get...under $10 million a year after all the bonuses/stock options...they don't deserve any more...all the while screaming how they can't compete against the foreign companies since we are so overpaid.

I have 20 years more seniority than Mulally with Ford. Still, I don't have a problem with him making more money than us but, jesusjumpupchristonaritzcracker---he gets a 48% raise in one year? After all the cuts/freezes we (and salaried, too) took? C'mon Al & Billy: why do we have to "compete" with other companies' workers for the lowest pay---but you guys don't? I swear, American capitalism gets more insane by the day.

It is time to sit at the bargaining table and say " I'm good" to Mulally. It is time to say we need to be competitive with executive salaries! It is time to tell the IUAW we will fight for what is ours, not just take in the nuts for GM and Chrysler. Pattern bargaining is out.(Don't pattern me with two bankrupt companies IUAW when the CEO has made around a billion in his Ford career of 5 years.)
With Ford utilizing layoffs to become competitive, how much have you given up in the last contract?! It is time to stand up and give our national bargainers our support from the beginning of the negotiations. STRONG support - and STRONG guidance of what we will accept.
It is time for our generation to fight for what is ours. Thank you for all that have fought in the past for what you have given us. May you live for many years in retirement on Ford's dime and make me smile!
It is time to stare down a CEO that has the compensation of a small nation and demand satisfaction. I have watched for too long. I have seen many coworkers suffer for the company. (Financial, operations, wrongful write-ups, intimidation, etc. The list is too long)
It is time to stand together as one nationwide and stand up for our dignity again.........

Looking back he had a great business plan risking the assetts of the company before the crash, and it has paid off. Now if he had gotten a huge bonus and the company tanked.... He didnt do anything that Bill Ford or anyone else couldnt do. He just did what no one else had the heart to do...cut tons of jobs. Bill Ford didnt have the heart to cut all those jobs. Mulally was hired to come in and do what no one else wanted to. Nothing genious or ground breaking about it. He is way over paid and its pathetic. I think its time for Ford to say thanks for your help and now its time to go.

actually to me i think we helped put the company back to profitability by the concessions we made more than mulally did but thats just my opinion...but he could split some of that big fat check with us

So you have no problem with him making $84.5 million? Is $10 million total compensation not enough? I said it was insane...I don't know how else to put it. He had a much better business plan the Bill Ford ever did. Yes he did close factories and do away with jobs.....he's a CEO what do you expect? He borrowed the money (while the banks still had it) put billions into redisgning Fords vehicles, we are building the best product ever right now. He has also decided to pour millions into retooling places like LAP. I am unhappy with his personal profit but, very happy with the position the company is in now.

As someone else stated...Bill Ford flat out said that he couldn't do what needed to be done...put people out on the street. He even went on to say how it affected his sleep to do such a thing...so hire an axe man...he did it. He didn't design vehicles...or come up with a 75mpg car...if he had done that, maybe pay him $40 million, but $84.5? The only reason Ford ever suffered was due to our employer being led by someone with a conscience...you can't lead a multi-billion dollar company and care about putting people out on the street and closing plants. I expect a severance package of less than $5 million be used to send Mulally packing...

Bill made a nice profit also. Ford has been hiring and firing people as long as they have been in business, thats the only way to stay in business. Would the company have been better off with someone elses leadership? Who can say what would have happened. I know they bought Volvo and the technology that has led to the vehicles we make now, they also got rid of other losing ventures. It has been a good business plan so far. I would like to hear how our pro-Republican supporters here on the Forum feel about this. Do we limit the pay of American business people? Isn't that slipping towards Socialism?

there you go again, putting the fear into people socialism....if we try to control ceo pay... that is what every rich republican politic an throws at those who question the excise bonuses and ridiculous separation packages from company's...sounds like a professional sports....its sad that 400 of the riches Americans own more wealth then 150 million Americans in the land of opportunity if you work hard and pay your taxes.... bull shit ! yeah vote republican keep your guns that's the bone they throw you...

A CEO should be under a contract just like we are...he does make a salary, but the bonuses and stock options are ludicrous. Getting paid a salary of just over a million is respectable...receiving $58 million in stock options and $25 million in additional bonuses is sickening. Why not cap his stock options and bonuses? Just as Rick Pitino gets a bonus for different accomplishments, he should too...as so should we. It's not like I'm saying 'share the wealth'...I don't expect his $58 million in stock options to be shared with us...but no single man is worth over $80 million to run a company. That's Oprah/Tiger Woods money... Don't bitch about how unfair the labor costs are and then feel fine receiving $84.5 million...it's really not that hard to understand. Bob King should shine this year...equity of sacrifice grievance...Mulally $84.5 million...Ford over $50 million...and us cutback after cutback...come on Bob King...show us the money...raises, COLA, bonuses, profit sharing program similar to the one from the 90's.

It's quite refreshing to see that we have a membership that states the facts. We just have to make sure that these facts are at the bargaining table for our up coming contract in September. Dealing with facts are our best tool for receiving a fair contract.

Mulally is basically getting what could have been a 3% raise for 42,000 workers...sad. His one year income could have been a 3% raise for 42,000 people...ponder that one for a while.
