I don't know if this will help kill some of the rumors. And i am surprised someone on here didn't catch this before I realized it.

But next week is a holiday week. Which means if we were to be laid off (and we aren't) that they would have to pay us SWW instead of unemployment/sub. They avoid doing that because it costs them a lot more money to pay SWW than it does to have the state pay half.

Seems I remember a holiday falling on a down week at LAP and we filed unemployment and claimed the holiday pay as income.

If you work the week pryor to a TLO then its SWW. But if you are on TLO the week pryor to the Holiday thats when you have to file the Holiday.
