Why didn`t we come in early last Sunday 2hrs??? If our Union doesn`t get this changed then we have no hope on our local contract. I have a lot of respect for Scott and will wait and see if he lets this stand.

groundhog, While I do recognize that some people in paint and body have been there since they were hired most of us did 12,15 and even 20 years out front before we got the pleasure of working in body and paint. So we paid our dues and where we work does not mean we lose the right to a fair treatment by the company. You will be in our position someday and I will be on your side every time the company does you wrong.

I'm on the frame line and I've been trying to get to body for years. It doesn't matter what department your in, this is B.S. Like I've posted under other topics, Ford wants your life to revolve around them. They don't care about you, your family, your life or what plans you try to make. This is just typical Ford Motor Co.

If we didn't give up our Easter Monday holiday, you wouldn't be going in at all. Stop blaming the company, we did it.

Isn't there something about 8 hours before holiday in contract? Oh Nevermind I guess this is the day of and after. They can do that.

Easter is not a negotiated holiday. You got the 8 hours on Wed. Night-Thu. Morning.

Easter Sunday is NOT a negotiated holiday either. It is just like any other Sunday. Do you rally think management cares if it is Easter. They don't.

Where in the contract it say they can make Sunday before shift mandatory ? I worked c- crew since there been a c-crew only in the last couple months have they been allowed to do this. Just another example on the union saying yes and the company taking advantage of the situation.
In the contract , not in there, it's wrong and everyone knows it.
Hoping my union gets me a robo call not to come in till 11:00 This is the stuff I want my union to handle, little crap like this.
If we are laid off nexted week for short parts I will be really pissed... lol

you are exactly correct...I will never understand why our leaders agreed to them forcing you to come in 2 hours early on Sunday. It was a survey for a while...then it became mandatory. This agreement happened so final could get numbers...the 2 hrs C crew Sun and 2 hrs over for B crew Friday...that was the agreement.
