I was a referral from my mom and I took the physcial & drug test in september. I wonder why im waiting so long. Unless your mom is in with leadership i would say your wait will be a bit longer. First few groups will be all of their family & friends, gaurantees them some good seniority eventually. Few weeks/months on someone means alot later on down the road. Good luck No she isn't. Just a normal line worker, and thats understandable. As long as I get in and can make decent money and can be a provider I will be happy. Thanks for the info!

Can you tell me what are the "B" crew days and hours? Depends on where you work. Final runs Mon-Fri 6 pm-4:30 am. Body Paint Stamping run Tue-Fri 6pm-5:30am.

I am also waiting for a call to start,I have faxed medical records indicating I am able to return to full time work with no restrictions like I was instructed to do following my physical. After two weeks of no word I called to confirm my fax was recieved and was told, "Honestly, we havent even been looking at those faxes, we have too much to do with everything else." Then after explaining to her I really dont want to miss this opportunity to work for Ford Motor Company, she called me back and said Dr. Hart would not accept the medical release I had faxed because the date it cleared me for was from a year ago. Ive been back to work full time with no restrictions for over a year. I'm just confused, I got the releases that were requested but is the Dr.saying I need to be re-released? Im just seeking advice as to what to do now. I know I am ready to come and show all these new guys that I've read about on these forums who are lazy and useless the definition of work ethic. Any suggestions on my situation would be greatly appreciated.

No seriously, that administrative/labor person never consulted the doctor about your fax. He/She located your fax & saw a release discrepancy & called you back.
The thing that new hires don't realize is that the ones in the Labor Relations Office absolutely hate the hourly people. They are miserable, nasty human flesh & it wouldnt surprise me at all if they just tossed your file in the trash because you bothered them.
