Wondering if a and b crew were told that quality leaders now have to report to the supervisor every time they give a bathroom break and if you take 1 bathroom break a day 4 days in a row it's considered abuse. They say first offense is a rw second is a sit down and you know the rest after that. I can't find this anywhere in my copy of the local or national contract lol

Quick fix to this:
Take a baggy and shit in it. Give it to your QL and tell him thanks, you can now give this baggy to the supervisor for proof that I'm using my time in the shitter wisely.
Either this or snap pics with your phone and show them with a time stamp.
Ask me how I know this will make them stop questioning you.

I haven't heard anything about this crazy shit on B crew. If quality leaders are telling their people this crap then I would not believe it, some of them will say anything to get out of giving people piss breaks! Not all QL are this way but many are. Half the people on my line alone would be fired in less than a month & our QL is really good about giving piss breaks without bitching about it. IMO 1 bathroom break a shift is totally reasonable. Especially considering we have to wait 3 hours for first break. And those that are tag relieving wait longer than that, if they have last break. If our union allows this shit to happen then we might as well go right to work, cause we sure as fuck wouldn't be getting fair representation. Bring on the RW's & sit downs assholes!!!!!!

Also, if they get really ugly and only allow you one break, request a medical pass and tell them in medical that your stomach is now bound up because your QL and supervisor are dicks about letting you go.
Another note: Go to your family doctor and tell him your situation. Normal people have to go at least once an hour if you are hydrating correctly. Your doctor will be happy to give you a medical paper to turn in with such a request.
I believe it was Jim Beam that got sued over this stupid shit about ten years ago.

I also heard you can go get a note from a doctor or whatever but then they will put you out on no work available until you conform to the new rule. Did this several times years ago when I was on nights. It was a scare tactic. They thought if you had to ask the supervisor every time it would scare you into not asking. Never lasted very long. Doubt they ever did it on days

Every time someone needs to go because of the few that abuse the sitituation and won't come back for 20 min. and all the crap that's going down the line unrepaired It is what it is. This came down from the production manager. Like I said were supposed to put it on the radio every time but that doesn't mean we all do just saying

24 years? Than you know its not true unless its in writing with signatures and your people signing or initialing it.
Sounds like you are part of the problem if you are passing this onto to your people.
You cant just make up BS rules for one section or shift in the plant and with 24 years you know this!
