The whole thing is a joke. If we want something then we don't back down till we get it!! If we don't get it then we strike!!! Ford can not afford to go on strike, they are selling way to many cars and trucks to do so for a long period of time. They will lose way more money if we strike then if they give us what we want. $24hr_plus raise every yr till next contract(will put us at 28$) plus a 20k bonus! That is what we should be getting. If you think they can't do it it,your wrong. And we can get it if we stay our ground!

SO you've been here what, 3 to 4 years and you deserve a $5 and hour raise plus a raise every year?. Better dream on cause we haven't had one in 10 years. I will definatly vote no against some bullshit like that

From what I was told u all had a raise, just not a big one. And if it wasn't for us 3 to 4 yr people you would be on 6th and cider. And I'm pretty sure I said us and u guys but whatever.this is why it will never work because u think u deserve a gold metal for doing what? Because u been in the game longer?? We are keeping the game going. So maybe u should think us and be on our side.or retire and get out of the way! Ty

Thanks for working here at low cost wages. And keeping us from getting as much overtime as we used to. Don't accept a low paying job, then complain about having a low paying job. See, you are now thanked.

Sorry if my precious post is rude. But, you have to understand one thing. You are here because you work for lower wages. Yiu are NOT here because you are needed to produce cars. This plant can meet market demand with two shifts, we did it before. C crew exists because tier two people are willing to work for less. You haven't done us any favors.

We never signed on to no pay raise ever. That's something you all did before we came into the picture. we were obviously needed because we are there. I know we.. and I mean all of us will get screwed bad...Sad to see the older vets be the more immature ones ,and I want that, get out of my way that's mine..I need that attitude. Someone let u come in and get higher pay,but u won't let any of us have some of that?? Childish...guess I should expect nothing less.

What was there before wasn't obviously cutting it..or we wouldn't be there. Ford wouldn't of spent the money it takes to hire all of us just for giggles. It must hurt your pride or something idk but u were hired in at a lower wage I'm sure,I'm more then glad making 20$hr but I know it's wrong to work next to someone that does absolutely nothing and makes 31$ or my job. A job no one likes btw.u should try it some time. But I'm sure u have either done it or been there right? I know if I made the money u guys make I wouldn't want nor need a raise. Your crazy! Your pushing it as it is and when the state does go right to work..man lol god help us all But by all means keep fighting with your fellow brothers and sisters.

You 3 year fuckers think you got it all figured out. You work here because you make less money. Not because you're needed. We met demand with 2 shifts before you and can now. The union makes more money by having you through union dues and you took our overtime. We don't owe you a god damn thing.

Why so serious?! And to think I turned down September 7th work,so there's your overtime back Didn't you learn to share in kindergarten?? We just want a little bit of the pie that you all have been getting 10-20 yrs now. I say pass the touch,u say get the hell out of here we don't need ya?? Wow some love from ford. Sad really that groin men and women act like little spoiled kids. No wonder no one smiles at that place lol well u will have to get used to us till ford lays us off

Legacy voted the way they did and tier 2 gets the blame all the time. So let's say they hired us because of lower wages and that you can achieve in two shifts, what we are achieving in three. Let's say the average employee makes $30 an hr. Which they don't. It is $28 and some change but I will go with $30. At time and a half that's an extra $15 an hr. We started out at $15.78 or something like that and top out at $19.28. It would make zero sense to add a third shift and pay more money if they can achieve those same numbers on two shifts. My second question is, in order for two shifts to achieve those same numbers they would almost have to work 12 hrs a day 6 days a week maybe 7. Why would you want to live your life at ford? Do you hate your family so much that your willing to sacrifice spending quality time with them or do you live beyond your means and have to work like that? Every Legacy employee I have spoke to face to face with the exception of some Michigan transfers have said time and time again that they hope we can bridge the gap and it pisses them off that they allowed a second tier. I work my ass off and I get blamed that I'm making it hard for the other workers to fight their job. But yet I hear legacy constantly say "we had to lay in there and get it". If I don't work my ass off then I'm a lazy ass worker who doesn't deserve to be here. So which is it? I want to see Legacy get their raise, I also wouldn't mind getting a raise myself.

Nobody said you shouldn't get a raise. Just not $9 in one contract. I could go with 2% for legacy and 5% for tier 2 over 4 years. Oh and ccrewdummie line speed has yet to reach Explorer levels which was 90 an hour and that is coming plus tag relief. So if we went back to 5 10 hour days 2 shifts and tag relief we would hit our numbers that we are running now with 3 crews. Suppliers are what is holding us back.

All 3 shifts combined now build 9000 a week on the best week. Before we ran 92 an hr with tag relief. Running that again comes to 9200 per week for 2 shifts working five 10 hr days. That don't even factor in the Saturdays we worked. They have a whole crew working 40 hrs now for $10 hr less. Our overtime would cost them $42 an hr.

Well I agree and I don't expect a $9 hour raise. 2% sounds good to me. I'm with in 1800 people of rolling to full pay but I want to fight for all employees. Legacy l, two tier and the future new hires.

Here's my two cents, the last contract they brought to us we voted down, they went back to the bargaining table tweaked it a little came back and said there it is take it or leave it we are not going to bargain any more. Vote yes or go on strike, the majority got scared I guess and voted yes. The same thing will happen this time, the IUAW is going to say this is it vote yes or go on strike, I hope everyone is ready to strike when it comes to it

Then that makes even less sense to be running 3 shifts. I believe (just my opinion) their bigger goal and they are achieving it is there are A LOT of Legacy due to retire. We may eventually roll to full pay but we will never get the other benefits. I personally hate seeing this division. I will admit there are a few tier 2 that I would like to slap the stupid out of them and I get pissed when I hear them say we deserve this and that while they are sitting there on their phone playing games, or whatever it is they are doing besides work. There are very little Legacy that Doesn't work their ass off. Every legacy I work next to works just as hard as I do. So I don't even think about the pay difference most of the time. I will say. I went and voted and for LAP most of the people who voted were from C crew. The lines were crazy but I felt proud at that moment.

Cheaper to run 3 because of the lower pay. If it wasn't cheaper then they wouldn't be doing it. Sure everyone deserves to same pay. But some of these 2nd tier think legacy owe them something.

I would also like to note that my wife started out making $13 maybe $14 something an hr. She has been at Fors for 21 yrs. so in 11 yrs she topped out at $28.34. Considering you all haven't had a raise in 10 yrs. we all started out making a little more then most Legacy started out at. I have been here 3 yrs and 5 months. I make $18.88 so really I don't have any reason to bitch. I just don't like hearing I don't deserve to be here

I've been here going on 24 years and the money is the only thing that's kept me here, I believe if you work in this shit hole you should get paid to do so. This two tier thing is a crock of shit and we all know it, but we all have to admit now that it's here it ain't going away

Ex-metalman I know she was at top pay in 3 years but she didn't top out at $28.34 in three years. Otherwise she hasn't had a raise for the last 18 yrs
