Correct beenaround. Machination, ya’ll have got the local union you deserve. I guess I just haven't really had any major problems the 25 years I've been here. By all means, if you guys could make the local better then get elected. I'm all for improving things if improvement is possible. But that's the key. Have to put your money where your mouth is. Articulately explain during your campaigns specifically what improvements you will be able to implement once elected. Then do it. Otherwise, it's just more talk, and there's plenty of that in here. |

Like machination stated..The Lorraine people said we had a horrible union,Indianapolis,Michigan,Kansas city,Atlanta etc..Yet they all are here and working?How tough can a different local actually be?Come on .I agree they all bitch yet they moved ,kept seniority and have a BETTER plant to work at..Zip it

One example that the salaried employee from Michigan Assembly Plant brought up to me: there are routine practices at KTP that would be considered Health & Safety violations by every other UAW local in the USA.
But how would any hourly employee at KTP know this if they have never worked in any other Ford facility? And ya’ll ignore what transfers have been saying over the years. Transfers to this plant learn quickly that their input is unwelcome and to look out for their own well-being and screw everyone else. Because making waves is useless.

So was I correct in stating that changing the max involuntary time was only to defer the inevitable moving of chassis cabs for another year? Because that would have been an unambiguous answer that would put it to rest.
So you said what you meant alright, which was to not answer the damned question. I am not an elected member of the union. I'm Just a grunt that found the information and passed it along. I cannot answer questions I know nothing about. Why don't you volunteer your time to find the answer since it is so pressing to you. I will be waiting for your answer. Or would you use the “dog?” Such a practice is prohibited at every Ford Assembly Plant outside of Kentucky as a Health & Safety violation. But it is routine practice at KTP. Yep. Sure have..I was a repair man in body.told lots of people including sups no..Don't need a union if you have balls...Been here 23 and never seen a person get fired and it stuck.And I've been in 3 depts and met lots of CRAZY MFERS...Also I've fought plenty jobs ..Like excursion 005 wire loom job that we (4) of us refused to do and turned the line off on EVERY JOB..Ask about that.. |
