No but the experts all agree it will be Stelantis since that’s where he is from and the fact they are try to shut down that jeep plant.

We need to put our knee their throat this contract. No less than $38 hr return of COLA, pension raise, elimination of 2 tier. Pensions for everyone.

They want “plant flexibility” aka moving LAP workers to Glendale. When that’s a no then they’ll say well then that battery plant won’t be UAW

Absolutely nothing the company can do about it Have you been to Glendale and the surrounding area? Not a lot of work. They’ll have to negotiate it and that’s hard for new employees in a brand new plant. Why do you think Fords already put the “plant flexibility” wording out.

Well it’s out there now.Ford wants non union at EV plants .Union wants union labor.Like you said it’s up to the workers once the plant starts up IF it’s not already a bargaining chip.My guess.Ford will agree to UNION and that will be a MAJOR gain for the future..Of course that doesn’t help the 8000 workers at KTP one but.

Good point! Ford may agree with union in place of 1) Return of COLA 2) Significant raises to hourly employees 3) Significant raises in retirement benefits 4) Keeping two tier wage scale. If not more!

Agree. Cost of living is too damn high. If you got a couple kids your basically spending your paycheck on groceries. Ford makes too much damn money we should be making minimum $35/hr

15 years loss of COLA is easily $8.00 an hour plus we gave back $1.00 an hour back then. So a raise of $9 an hour gets you back to even at best. Worlds worst negotiators giving stuff up without terms to how it will be reinstated

Worlds worst negotiators giving stuff up without terms to how it will be reinstated I'm guessing it was reinstated but only to the folks that frequented Black Lake and were in the pockets of the higher ups at Ford. IMO. The rest of us shmucks just had to sit back and take it.

Absolutely nothing the company can do about it BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale is not part of UAW and is not unionized. The issue of pay at battery parks like this has fallen under scrutiny from Shawn Fain, president of UAW and others as the Detroit Three continue negotiations. Ford sources said employees at the BlueOval SK Battery Park will have to decide whether to unionize or not and lead a union drive. If they were to unionize, these workers would have a separate contract from the national agreement currently being negotiated. Copied this info from an article I read today. Another part states that starting pay begins at $21 to $29 per hour.

Believe it will be used for the $30k worth of hats & shirts they buy every month. They are telling us to save and prepare for a strike yet they are spending money like the lottery winners they are.

When 9/15 comes around at 12am and nothing has been agreed upon yet, we will probably hear again that they "HAVE" agreed to a 2 week extension. That has been the norm through a lot of contracts of past.

I'm guessing Ford may agree to $10.00 over the length of the contract. That's all Farley will say they can afford without crippling the company while trying to roll out their EV program.

Not speaking about you I’m saying in general terms anyone that doesn’t go now will have to wait 4 years 8 months. That is what is on the table, deal would expire May 1 of 2028. That is how long the new contract would last. Congrats to you, I’m done as well have my 30 in as of about 4 months ago.

Yes, I could have left few months back but figured worth waiting 6 months or so to see if there are any buyout offers. Either way I’m done. Hope to be gone by the end of the year at the latest
