i still cant believe he got elected. I cant believe the UAW leaders mentality to back this guy. Just 5 short years ago, in his own words, he described both our plants as a nuisance to the environment. He never had anything good to say about Ford or the UAW until he threw his hat in the ring to run in the senate race. And to this day, that worthless mother fucker still drives a piece of shit Lexus! Thanks again UAW leadership for backing this c0ck sucker! without rhyme or reason, the UAW backs whoever has a "D" after their name on the ballot. apparently, those with a "D" after their name are the only people for "working families"...whatever that means.

Notice the video cuts off before he finishes his answer. This speech was well before the vote on healthcare. NOT AFTER. He was being....oh what do they call it?..............HONEST. At that time he did not knwo exactly how they were going to pay for it. He then went on to explain what they were proposing. Here is the Couriers take on it, I could not find the exact speech language.
As follows:
"The question is, 'How we going to pay for this?' The answer is, 'I don't know,'" Yarmuth said.
The congressman did say Congress is proposing to pay for the health care proposal with about $500 billion.
Some of that money would be a surcharge on the taxes of people making more than $500,000 a year and the other half would be paid for with cuts in programs such as Medicare Advantage.
"He changed my mind a little bit. I am more in favor of single payer option than I was before," attendee Karen Hremer said.
Yarmuth said the public option would set up the same provider network as insurance companies and wouldn't force the existing insurance companies out of business.
"We spend in this country, billions and billions of dollars every year on bottled water and we have a pretty good public option to that -- its turn on your tap. People still buy public water, they still buy bottled water," Yarmuth said.
As for where Yarmuth stands when a vote will be taken -- he said he still hasn't made up his mind.
"I'm concerned about ultimate results for the American people. How we get there, we're going to do it the best way we can," Yarmuth said.
The congressman voted for a health care overhaul approved by the House Ways and Means Committee this summer. That proposal includes a public insurance option that would compete against private insurance companies.
Your right you shoudl not vote for a guy that is being honest. The video clip is soo much better than the whole story.

I think Yarmuth can be too liberal on some issues. I like that Pence over here in Indiana stuck to his guns about spending. I disagree with him on a lot but am glad to see he was a true believer, unlike McConnell. Reagan was good for the American economy, and so was Clinton. Carter and Bush 1 and 2 , not so much.
See in there Anal how I can tell the difference between good and bad despite the R or D. Can you? Do you think you will agree with any politician all the time? Yarmuth was for auto bailout. Good. He is for higher emmision standards. Bad. He said he would vote for health care even if it cost him the election. A ballsy call either way you feel about it, I'll give him credit for that.
Rand wants less spending. Good. He wants a national sales tax. Bad. He thinks we are the reason the Big 3 were unprofitable. And that is pure ignorance.
Can you do the same? Or was Clintons economy just Newts? Was Obamas expansion of gun owners rights just pressure from the NRA? Was Rands quote gotcha journalism? do you agree with him? Do you just believe the Right is always right? It sure seems so.
I only vote on one issue, my job. All these other things mean nothing without that to me. So thats pretty much what guides my vote. If I want to expand my gun rights. If i am working I'll buy more guns. If I want Christianity to grow, ill work more and give money to my church. And I feel, and think history proves, that in most cases, my job here at Ford benefits more often under Dem leadership. If that changes my vote will change. As I have stated I would have voted for Pat B. I voted for Northup once and regretted it, voted for Ross Perot. I am sure I will vote for more R's and a few I's in the future.
Been here 15 yrs this month and I have gotten more and bigger checks under the D's than the R's. that is a fact you can't get around. Those pesky facts can ruin a good argument.

So the answer is yes, you always think the right is right.
Take note the link is to an Editorial, they list no name sof sources, looks liek another straw man issue put up by your folks.
In your Conservative debate style claiming I said one thign when I said another. I never said Obmama was pro gun. I said he expanded gun right. That is not an editorial or a maybe, he DID. You can now carry them in national parks which has been banned for years. Again give me some facts to your arguement.
And how do you vote for your country? Every vote in your country is for your country. This your wierd way of trying to claim someone isn't a patriot.
But for the record. Me feeding my kids and keeping a roof over their heads comes before all else. And I need to work to do that.
I guess you can consider me a traitor for that if it makes you feel better.

analspasm...many enjoy the constant debate you create, but please do not resort to name calling or offensive posts. Your reply is still visible in ktpelec's post. If there is not two opposing opinions, this forum would not exist (political). I am all for barbing one another, but let us all do it in a respectable manner. Continue... Life is good!
