The state has informed us that they had new computer software in place and single week claims that were called in on the phone are not processing properly and they do not know how to fix it.
So, if you called your claim in. You need to do one of two things in order to get your money in a timely manner. You can either redo your claim online. Or you can fill out the pay card on the form they sent you and bring it to the office or your committeeperson and Royce will deliver to the unemplyment office on Friday.
They have told us they will cancel out any phone claims that they get duplicates on. They could not tell us how long it would take them to process a claim that was done by phone. The program they switched to is not moving the claim through the system. Apparently this is a single week issue. People laid of at LAP that are on a Bi weekly claim will not be affected.
If you processed your claim online they are telling us everything is working fine through that system.
That is what they have informed us to do to help get checks faster. If anything changes or updates I will post that as soon as i get it.

Hey Kess...I re-filed using the on-line method, but when I called back for verification, it said no claims have been submitted. On line also having those same problems?

the online claim filing doesn't work either. this is bullshit. so what in the hell do we do. this is crazy how it's always some type of pain in the ass problem

Claimed II benefits Sunday online. Just now checked to see if it went thru and it did. My check was mailed today. Sorry this doesn't help but I guess it worked for me.

I did mine online Sunday night at 9pm. Just checked on it and it went through.

kess, mine said it went through on Sunday, & was confirmed @ the end of process. Also did it online today & was confirmed again.

The committee people will be handing out the sheets again. If you can't get it filed online you can fill it out and take it to the unemployment office. Or we will take it.

Question for Scott R, im not questioning you on if their claims went thru, but im trying to understand what are you basing that "it went thru with no issues" on is there a way to check! The reason i'm asking is because as the over the phone claim stated your claim has been accepted and is being processed. It stated the same online at around n00n today. Thanks for any insight you may have!

Mark, was that with you calling? It will tell you its accepted at the end of the call, but it isn't. I will have to ask about you calling again and it verifying it went through, not sure on that.

Lewis we are looking into what you got going on. PM me your global and a number please so we can have them check it. What you are reporting is different from other issues we have had. Yours still doesnt say a check is cut.

ktpschd, check your PM's i sent you one.
Also, there is one point when filing online that it ask if you want to "file a claim" or "request a check" you need to select request a check.
If it starts asking you questions the phone doesn't, like "where do you work" you have selected the wrong one.

If it shows it went thru online...it should be done. The issue with the phone...it will say it went thru, but the software is screwed up...it won't be able to pull info off the phone software...by entering online, it automatically goes straight thru...bypassing the newly redesigned faulty phone software...at least that's what I was told.

I would guess you filed online successfully Sunday...but when you call using the faulty phone software, it has no way of checking results...but just a guess since phone option doesn't work.

Ok i tried to post an instruction sheet, but its a PDF file so I can't get it to post. If you are on night shift they will be passing it around tonight and the day shift committee will have them also tommorow. They had them today but may not have had time to get it to everyone.

Filed mine online Sunday and called today to check status and they said check was mailed yesterday. Not in mail today, hopefully will be tomorrow.

OK...I filed online successfully this morning.
When I call the new UI number to verify it says there is no claim on file.
Is my claim in or not?

Update:
I went online to refile because of the message over the phone that there is no claim on file.
The online site says they already have a claim on file and will not let me refile.
Anyone else having this issue?
