Most of my time at Ford has been in trim. I have never accepted a favor/money/etc. from the union. I do this forum on my own time to inform the hourly(Sometimes against the union also). I worked 15 years at LAP in Trim. I went over to KTP in 2008. I went to U-trim where I worked for 2 years before bidding out. 21+ years of service and no help/favors from the union - nice attempt though.

This is going to get ugly. Timing couldn't be worse. Negotiations, right to work etc. All of our elected representation should think very clearly & carefully about the decisions they make involving this issue. Investigations lawsuits jail time etc will follow any mishandling of union dues connected to any part of this now or in the future.

Now if Brian, the guy on chasis, gets pulled over for drug possession and being dressed like a Tranny, then that is none of my business. Brians work ethics and decisions do not affect my every day life at work. But if Brian gets elected to Building Chair and gets 3 DUI's while serving, then we need to know that Brian is not well suited for his position and its time to get him the Hell out ASAP. For all we know Brian is getting shit faced everyday while negotiating with the company and is hurting us, not helping us. Again, you, nor I chose to run for an elected position that affects anyone at LAP, but "BRIAN" did, therefore I say GAME ON. Just my honest opinion. EDIT: NO ATTACKS WERE MADE IN THIS POST. When a regular joe gets 3 in his lifetime I think he's fucking stupid, when a highly elected union official gets 3 within 5 years, he gets what he deserves publicly & legally! Should it be on here or not? Thats the mod's call but someone on BON posted it and I'm sure it won't get deleted there.

Then bon would be a great place to discuss it with the one person that mentioned it. Look, I'm not saying it's not a big deal. It's potentially a big deal for our local.. But, for now, it's his personal business. And I don't think we should discuss it on here. At least not under assumed identities. I've never been a huge fan of the people that say you should only complain if you go to the meetings. But here, I think the next meeting would be a great place for people to voice their concerns about the actions of elected officials. |

One thing everybody is forgetting is we are all human and we make mistakes!! I'm not defending anybody!! I have my demons just like everybody else and in my 17+ at Ford have f-up quite a few times thankfully OUR UNION benefits have saved my life as well as my family!! One thing for certain is u DO NOT PUT ANYBODY ON BLAST FOR MAKING MISTAKES!! And in my opinion who ever started all of this is a rat and should not have the luxury to utilize or be a part of any union brotherhood!!
